💛 Our Journey

Our founder, Mr. Hritik Oswal, started Unboxkar in 2020 with a simple aim – to provide quality products at adorable prices.

Hritik, who was already active in the family’s offline retail and wholesale hair accessory business in Pune, wanted to build something beyond the traditional model.

Driven by curiosity for tech and the urge to scale faster, he decided to launch a D2C brand for hair accessories – a space with almost no affordable brands back then.

💡 The idea began in February 2020.

The launch was planned for March, but the pandemic changed everything.

During lockdown, Hritik learned all the skills needed to build an online business. As soon as markets opened, he geared up and finally launched the website.

🎉 On August 10, 2020, Unboxkar.in went live with a seed capital of ₹10,000.

Since then, we’ve grown with the love of our community:

⭐ September 2023 – crossed 50,000 orders and 50K followers on Instagram.

⭐ Today – over 160K orders delivered and 120K+ followers strong.
